What Android will ask you
- Your browser asks whether to allow installing apps from it. This appears because the app does not come from the Play Store, not because anything is wrong with the file. Allow it.
- Android may warn that the app is from an unknown developer and offer to scan it. Choosing Install anyway is what continues; scanning it first is fine too.
- Open Protocol Tracker and tap Start My Day.
The exact wording differs between Android versions and between phone makers, so your screen may not match these words exactly. The sequence is the same: allow the browser, continue past the warning, open the app.
Every day
Open the app and tap Start My Day when you take your first dose. The app schedules the rest of the day's reminders from that moment — it follows you, not a fixed clock.
Your data stays only on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.
A reminder was silent — what do I check?
Make sure your phone is not on silent or Do Not Disturb. On iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Protocol Tracker → Sounds on. On Android, check Settings → Apps → Protocol Tracker → Notifications → Supplements, which is the channel the dose reminder uses.
Is my health data private?
It is stored on your own device. There is no server and nothing is uploaded.
Why not the Play Store?
It is not listed yet. The store route needs a developer account and a review pass before anything is visible, so for now the APK above is the way in. The app is the same either way: on-device, no account.
What does it cost?
Nothing, now or later. No ads and no in-app purchases.
