The Father's quiet posture; cameos through the Son

Across the canon the Father is more present by sustained action than by spoken word. After creation he walks in the garden (Genesis 3:8). Enoch walks with God and is taken (Genesis 5:24). The voice speaks to Abraham, then to Moses, then through prophets — and in the fullness of time speaks through the Son:

"God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds." — Hebrews 1:1–2

The pattern is presence-by-cameo, intensifying: theophany → prophetic word → incarnation → Spirit poured out (Acts 2). The Father has not left; the access has been progressively opened. The Son is the cameo that does not end. The Spirit is the indwelling that follows.
